    Unfortunately our Skip the Line Access only applies to the main entrance of the Eiffel Tower, where we get you past long lines that can stretch for hours. When we leave you at the second level observation deck, we will give you passes to the top level summit of the Eiffel Tower which you can choose to visit in your own time. There is no existing Skip the Line access for the elevator here - everyone who goes to the summit must wait in the same, general access queue.

    On our Loire Valley Tour you will visit the region’s two most visited castles – Chateau Chambord and Chateau de Chenonceau. Both of these magnificent castles are designated UNESCO World Heritage sites.

    We endeavour to offer every visitor six different wine tastings. Please note however that numbers will vary occasionally depending on vineyard availability and circumstances beyond our control.
  • What kind of wine we will taste?
    On the average tour you will taste a Brut "Méthode traditionnelle"; Sauvignon Blanc sec; Rosé "Les Meuriers"; Cabernet Rouge "Les Meuriers"; and Le Côt, Chenin Blanc (Moelleux 2009). Please note however, that the selection of wines might be different on the day of your visit depending on the vineyard’s availability.
  • Is lunch included in the price?
    Yes, lunch is included in the price of your tour. Your lunch will be hosted at Nitray Castle – an old and prestigious vineyard where we will also have our tasting.
  • What will we eat for lunch? Do you offer a vegetarian option?
    The lunch we offer you will include a fresh salad starter and chicken prepared “Loire Valley” style as a main course. For vegetarians we offer a main course of baked tomatoes with onions and oven-roasted potatoes. All main courses will be followed by an assortment of local cheeses, dessert, espresso and local wines.
  • How much of the day will we spend on the bus?
    The bus journey in and out of Paris to the Loire Valley will take approximately 2.5 hours each way. Journeys between the castles should be no more than an hour long so you will be on the bus for roughly 6 hours in total.

  • How long will the journey to Versailles be?
    Taking the train from Paris to Versailles is definitely the best way to go. Trains leave every 25 minutes and the train journey is approximately 30minutes. Alternatively bus line 171 goes from Pont de Sèvres in Central Paris (the end of line 9 on the metro) to Versailles-Place d’Armes. The trip should take about 30 mins, but as traffic can be horrendous getting around and out of Paris, it can easily take at least twice as long. A taxi will typically cost you a minimum of €60 one-way from Paris to Versailles. Although the train is definitely easiest way from Paris to Versailles, it is possible to drive from Paris to Versailles, again, it should take about 30 minutes but this depends on traffic. There is a large parking lot and parking is readily available. Parking is not free, however. It costs €5 for 2 hrs and € 12 for 8 hrs.

    The activity level of this tour is moderate - this means that any guest in relatively good health should be able for it. There are 130 steps down to the Catacombs and 83 steps back up. While underground we will cover between 1km and 2km of passages at an easy pace.
  • Is this tour OK for customers with claustrophobia?
    This depends entirely on you and what you feel comfortable with. Many clients with non-severe claustrophobia have taken this tour with no problems, others decided it was not for them. There are some tight spaces but there are also many open halls. However, you should be aware that the tour does take place entirely underground.
